Sparse and beautiful guitar and fine vocals. It reminds me a bit of Richard and Linda Thompson, but Winterpills , as always, are original and interesting. Feels good to see they are creating and sharing during these strange times (where it is difficult to go out to see live performances. ). It has always been my hope that they would someday play a venue in the Midwest. Meanwhile, what a treat to listen to something recorded last night ! 3/5/21

This is a version of a solo Philip song from his album 'Oceans Hiding In Oceans', with Flora taking the vocal lead. The duo version of the band had been doing it this way a handful of times for streaming shows (and one outdoor show) during the pandemic and we liked it, so ...here it is! Flora gives it all a brand new coat of paint. Recorded at home on the evening of March 4, 2021.
